news.Millennium Pharmacy Systems, a provider of technology-enabled pharmacy solutions to senior healthcare facilities, has appointed Richard Scardina as its new CEO.

Mr Scardina has served on the Millennium board of directors since October 2007. Most recently he was self-employed as an independent consultant after serving as an executive with Caremark Rx.
Gary Duty, a founder of the company, will continue to serve as the company’s president and a director.
Mr Duty said: “Mr Scardina is joining the company at an exciting time as we embark on an expansion plan which will include eight to 10 new markets over the next three years. Rich’s background and knowledge of organic business growth will be the key to our successful deployment in new markets.”
