A Global Medical Affairs organisation within a top 10 pharmaceutical company had previously been unsuccessful in completing Medical Necessity Assessment (MNA) documentation for their local, regional and global legacy products across seven therapy areas. The MNA documents were required to inform future product portfolio decision making within the organisation.

A robust plan for the delivery of over 250 MNA documents was developed with the client. These documents were drafted by the Kinapse offshore delivery centre under the supervision of a UK-based project manager. The MNA documents provided fact-based recommendation on medical necessity of product. Milestones set up for the delivery of the MNA documents to the client were managed by Kinapse.

Over 250 MNA documents were delivered successfully, ahead of schedule and within budget. The engagement provided visibility to the client of numerous products which were previously not characterised in this way.
