news.The Bosch division Packaging Technology, a Germany-based developer of systems in packaging and process technology for the pharmaceutical, confectionery and food industries, has unveiled a new disposable filling system concept ‘PreVAS.’

The new disposable filling system concept was developed in cooperation with a strategic partner for disposable materials.
Using a holistic approach, flow behavior, interfaces, tubing layout, distribution and connection point aspects are pursued for PreVAS.
Bosch said customers will benefit from the synergy between filling system competence from a machine manufacturer and a plastic manufacturer with sterilization know how.
With PreVAS the advantages of exchangeable filling systems, such as lowered cleaning- and downtime during production, extremely reduced sterilization requirements and the prevention of cross contamination are obvious, the company said.
