Arco Routing enables to treat both structured and unstructured task sequences and supports all aspects of workflow and document routing.
Workflow technology enables to:
• Graphically design processes.
• Shorten the processing time and manage deadlines.
• Get more grip on the treatment of documents.
• Look at the state of business at any time.
• Increase productivity.
• Integrate applications with work processes.
Arco Routing can be linked to documents or used alone. The application can be integrated with different document management packages, including Arco DocRoom, which comes as standard.
Arco Routing is based on an open architecture; all data concerning routing and workflow are saved in a relational database.
Most important functions of Arco Routing:
• Definition of processes and steps (tasks) within a procedure via a graphic builder.
• Definition of conditions for the routing.
• Definition of characteristics (properties) for the procedure.
• Publication (activation) or deactivation of a procedure.
• Definition and parameterisation of parallel, sequential en conditional steps (tasks) within the process.
• Management of sub procedures.
• Definition of deadlines and sending messages when approaching deadlines.
• Definition of properties and accessible documents per step: related to documents (OCR, e-mail, check in and check out, creation of a new document) or to external actions (e.g. generation of a standard MS-Word letter, link with external programs).
• Check on the syntax and logic of the procedure.
• Can be integrated easily with external applications.
• Start up new dossiers based on users’ actions or automatically, based on external events (e.g. delivery of an XML file).
• Organisation of tasks, documents and statuses within a dossier structure. This structure can consist of different levels.
• Definition of users, user groups and roles.
• Integration with Active Directory, LDAP and others which makes that data don’t have to be filled in separately.
• Allowing access to the builder, the client and the administration tool.
• Linking roles or persons to steps in the dossier.
• Management of absences with possibility to delegate work.
• Visualisation of a to do list in the inbox via a web-interface.
• Announcement of new work via e-mail
• The user can open a dossier, view the task and send it on.
• Possibility to view related documents (e.g. in the document management system)
• Visualisation of the de history of the different steps in the procedure.
• Generation of statistics on processing times, delayed work, work per department etc.
• Visualisation of the state and properties of procedures.
• Modification of the state and properties of procedures.
• Visualisation of the de history of the dossiers.
• Interfere in current dossiers.
