PIRO means Easiness meets…

Precision

The PIRO provides high precision with low variability when pipetting small volumes.

Reproducibility

Match unrevealed standardisation of your experiments. No more "Monday morning" or "Friday afternoon" pipetting results.

Versatility

Almost every tube or plate format is supported and more can be added through the unique plate creator by yourself. PCR-setup, plate reformatting, normalisation, Elisa applications, cherry picking, serial dilution, and many other tasks for a modern laboratory.

Cost saving

No pipetting errors, less repeats, lower reaction volumes, and usage of standard non-conductive tips.

Documentation

All steps are recorded and documented automatically and available for downstream applications. LIMS data import and export for intelligent pipetting and IVD matching are standards of the PIRO software.

PIRO Special features

PIRO is a space wonder

On a very small 600 mm x 490 mm bench top workspace the PIRO provides a 15 position deck (9 x SBS standard plates and 6 x special format plate positions). A vast amount of tube formats including 384-well plates to even up to 50 ml tubes can be handled by the robot using a wide range of pipette tips (20 μl, 50 μl, 200 μl, 1000 μl).

Safety first

Active pipetting control through "liquid level sensing" is completed by tip picking control and tip ejecting control. High sophisticated pipetting routines ensuring liquid transfers are dropless and aerosol free. Deck-sterilisation through an inbuild UV-burner provides upmost safety from any cross contamination (optional).
