miVac SpeedTrap

miVac SpeedTrap™ is a unique frost free cold trap suitable for use with a wide range of solvents, from volatile organic solvents through to water and some of the higher boiling point solvents. Whilst it is designed to compliment the miVac series of concentrators it can also be used with other systems, provided that the solvents are compatible.

The unique design of the miVac SpeedTrap allows the vapours to condense directly on the coiled pipes containing the refrigerated coolant. The condensate then drops into the insulated collecting jar below. Even when concentrating water, only an ice shell forms on the coils with the majority collecting as a liquid.
