Microarray Spotters

Contact and non-contact printing technologies.

EBN provides microarrayers using different technologies to meet customers’ specific needs:

– Inkjet spotters with piezo-electric printheads: these non-contact microarrayers allow faster printing, higher throughput and capacity and improved spot morphology compared with other microarrayers. With precise on-the-fly printing (<0.2s/slide) for accurate and repeatable spot placement, this technology allows spots-on spots. It is also much easier to use than other non-contact microarrayers. A range of robust inkjet microarrayers, from benchtop R&D to production-scale

– Contact-printing microarrayers: our microaray spotters with microspotting pins use the most advanced technologies. The high speed, high precision linear servo control system results in superior instrument performance in both speed and precision. Combined with an efficient bench top design, user configurable worktable, humidity and dust control, a host of available options and highly flexible and sophisticated software, our systems provide complete solutions for high performance microarray printing onto slides or into microwell plates. Medium- and high-throughput configurations available.

– Small-throughput Microarrayers for research: our pin-printing instrument can easily find a place on your bench. Printing from one 384-well plates and up to 14 slides or into 1 microwell plate, it can be equiped with all options for efficient printing of DNA or proteins. Our small non-contact piezo Microarrayers will allow you to print very easily mutliplexed slides for your research, or to adjust drop volumes for optimal flexibility.
