FPS Food and Pharma Systems' LABOMILL and PILOTMILL-1 are the solution for laboratory needs.

The LABOMILL and PILOTMILL-1 jetmills together with LABOFEEDER feeding system are the answer to R&D laboratory needs: the limited amount and the high value of material available during early development stages asks for the use of specifically designed equipment.

The LABOMILL and PILOTMILL-1 have been engineered in order to give higher product yield to encounter all of these needs:

• 0.2g is minimum batch micronised with LABOMILL
• Recovered product: 0.176g (88% of yield on 0.2g batch)

Despite the reduced dimensions, these jetmills have the same performances and advantages as bigger jetmills. It is the result of an unparalleled optimisation study that involved the milling chamber, the nozzles and the classifier. All connections of components have been done in order to be in compliance with cGMPs to assure quick and easy assembling and disassembling operations. The number of components has been reduced at minimum in order to make cleaning and validation activities easier and faster.

The LABOMILL and PILOTMILL-1 are able to assure full scalability of micronisation processes with other FPS jetmills. The particle size distribution (PSD) and product characteristics obtained with the LABOMILL and PILOTMILL-1 could be scaled up and be reproduced on larger FPS pilot and production systems.

The LABOMILL and PILOTMILL-1 jetmills may be easily integrated within an FPS isolator system for the safe handing and processing of high potent or toxic products.
