In Vivo Studies

We work with the most common small-animal research models: ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice - as well as more exotic species. We provide quality housing and animal husbandry services; safe, reliable transportation, custom breeding, re-derivation and colony maintenance services; and specialised technical procedures and manipulations.

BIOCON’s facilities can house up to 25,000 research animals supporting a broad range of projects in: breeding, immunology, acute and subchronic toxicity, product-safety testing, animal disease diagnostic services, cancer treatment tests, personalised medicine, ascites and antibody production. We can also advise clients on the most appropriate animal models to use to meet their specific research needs.
