Efficacy Studies

BIOCON has broad experience in the design and administration of efficacy studies.

We have created small animal models to evaluate treatment regimens, vaccines, cytocine or drug interventions. We have tested treatments against bacterial, viral and parasitic infections, and we have supported anti-toxin studies and nutrition interventions. Additionally, we have supported experimental cancer research focused on small molecule and biologic therapeutic agents. Our expertise includes evaluation of anti-angiogenesis agents, monoclonal antibodies, immune system stimulators and other experimental agents.

We have performed efficacy studies since 1979 and have used them to help clients:

• Screen multiple compounds to identify the most active agent or agents
• Establish optimal dosage levels and dosing schedules for individual compounds
• Perform follow up efficacy and toxicity studies
