Digital Pen

A digital pen looks just like a normal pen but can do much, much more. Each stroke of the pen on paper is translated into digital data.

The result is a perfect digital image of your paper document. This digital image can be uploaded to a pc or (web)server and processed using OCR. These data can then be uploaded for use in all databases. The digital pens come complete with a removable ink cartridge to ensure all data can be seen on your paper copy too.

Use the digital pen to write or draw on a standard sheet of paper on which a unique design is printed that can only just be seen by the naked eye. Using this method, additional functionality can be added for individual fields and sections, such as: creating a new sheet, selecting a different colour and even sending the documents by e-mail or to a web server. The pen can be connected to a pc via a USB cable or to a mobile phone using Bluetooth technology.

Arco has designed a host of additional tools tailored to the digital pen and can even adapt a customer’s own existing forms for use with the pen. Furthermore, Arco has produced a series of applications that enable digital pen data to be processed and archived.
