Abbemat Refractometer Series

Abbemat refractometers provide highly accurate refractive index measurements for quality control and the research and development of new pharmaceutical agents, as specified by Pharmacopoeia and international standards.

Measurements are simple, non-destructive and not influenced by color and turbidity. As Abbemat is equipped with an internal Peltier thermostat which adjusts the temperature of the sample, no additional external thermocirculator is required. Its fast thermostatting facilitates high sample throughput.

Abbemat refractometers are operated using a comprehensive and full 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software. The software includes numerous from refractive index derived scales but also offers simple programming of application dependent scales.
