NMPB Republic of Sudan Grants GMP Accreditation To Venus Remedies

National Medicine and Poison Board (NMPB) Republic of Sudan has granted good manufacturing practices (GMP) accreditation to seven facilities of Venus Remedies situated at its Baddi plant in Himachal Pradesh, India.

Venus Remedies said that in the seven accredited facilities the company produces drugs for oncology lyophilized, cardiovascular, oncology liquid, carbapenem, small volume infusion and other speciality injection.

Venus Remedies has already submitted 17 critical care products and is now planning to get registration for the products manufactured in all the seven facilities.

Manu Chaudhary, joint managing director of Venus Remedies, said: “Venus is now looking forward to serve Sudan, which is the largest country in Africa. MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region is believed to be one of the most stringent regulatory approval systems across the globe.”
