Topas Elastomer E-140 cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) elastomer is indicated for use in aqueous, acidic, dry, and low-alcohol (up to 15% alcohol) food-contact applications.
Topas Elastomer E-140 is targeted as an alternative to traditional flexible materials for a range of applications in specialty pharmaceutical packaging, food packaging and medical devices.
Topas Advanced Polymers president Timothy Kneale said this transparent polymer now delivers toughness and flexibility that go well beyond typical cyclic olefin resins.
