Berlin Pharma to market Acino products in Thailand

Switzerland-based Acino is a developer and manufacturer of generic and pharmaceuticals using advanced drug delivery technologies, for which it also holds patents.

Berlin Pharma CEO Amal Naj said the new products will complement their current line of therapies as well as significantly expand their presence into new areas.

"The vast majority of the Acino products Berlin will introduce in Thailand are for the treatment of urological disorders, cancer and pain," Naj said.

Acino CEO Peter Burema said they see great opportunities for their products there and rest of Asia and other emerging markets.
