news.US-based Paragon BioTeck has entered into a multi-year agreement with Irish healthcare supplier Perrigo Company to promote the ilast range of products for eyelid hygiene in the US.

The company said that the ilast family of products is scientifically formulated to contain high concentrations of Hyaluronic acid.
Available in two formulas, the ilast product offering for eyelid hygiene includes ilast Care and ilast Clean, both 100% preservative free with Epifree Technology, and fragrance and paraben free.
Paragon BioTeck president and CEO Patrick Witham said: "The ilast brand is an integral part of our portfolio of branded products.
"By expanding our promotional efforts to include marketing to clinically-relevant physicians, we hope to raise physician awareness about the importance of eyelid hygiene and the difference it can make for patients struggling with ocular surface disease."
Paragon BioTeck’s portfolio of products is designed to protect and preserve eyesight and deliver comfort to the eyes.
The company’s products include the Comfortear Lacrisolve Absorbable Punctum Plug, Comfortear Punctum Plug, EqualEyes Ocular Lubricant, the preservative free ilast range of products and their FDA approved Phenylephrine Hydrochloride ophthalmic solution available in 2.5% and 10%.
