Macular Health announces release of MacuStrip

Macular Health, a recognized leader in the ophthalmic nutraceutical industry, is poised to introduce a breakthrough product to the marketplace: fast-dissolving, easy to use oral strips.

Modeled after breath freshening strips already well-known to most consumers, the MacuStrip will deliver exact doses of medical-grade vitamins in the simplest manner possible.

The MacuStrip is slated to be officially released at the 2014 American Academy of Ophthalmology convention (Oct. 18-21) in Chicago later this month. Their release marks yet another confirmation of Macular Health, LLC’s position as a leader in the prevention and treatment of ocular conditions.

"All of our supplements are based on the latest scientific research," said Macular Health, LLC President and CEO Jeffery McAnnally. "Our focus is on helping people living with incurable eye diseases, and one of the best ways we can do that is to make their treatment regimen as simple as possible: MacuStrips remove many of the barriers that lie between a doctor’s directions and a patient’s proper ingestion of medicine. They are easy to use, the dosing is always consistent, they’re fast-acting, and they even taste great, too."

Macular Health, LLC’s focus over the past decade has been on creating powerful, effective vitamin supplements that help to abate the onset of symptoms connected to age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, chronic dry eyes, diabetes, and certain genetic conditions.

As these issues often develop and/or worsen with older age, the company has long been intent on seeking ways to make treatment easier and more effective for senior patients. MacuStrip represents the culmination of years of research and testing informed by this goal.

The medical-grade supplement formulas that Macular Health, LLC has developed can now be delivered to patients through MacuStrips that, according to the company, promises to: remove the difficulties of swallowing multiple pills, ensure reliable dosing, eliminate GI issues for those with a sensitive stomach and create ease-of-use that should lead to more patients effectively and safely adhering to their health products.

The MacuStrip is patented and produced exclusively in the United States and will be available for both domestic and international commercial distribution in mid-October of this year.
