Condux® Universal Mill

High speed impact mills with interchangeable grinding elements for size reduction of a broad spectrum of materials with a Mohs hardness of 3 or less. Condux® Universal Mills feature exchangeable grinding elements for versatility in size reduction to d50 ~ 20 µ to 500 µ. Types of grinding elements are attrition grinding discs for size reduction by shear, blast rotor and wing beater for size reduction by impact and shear, pin discs for size reduction by impact, and counter-rotating pin discs for the highest fineness possible with a mechanical impact mill.

DeltaVita® 2000-60000 Production Sized Machines

DeltaVita® 2000-60000 production systems offer two frame designs, a portable - complete machine located within the process suite or a fixed installation with a split frame design with all mechanical components outside the clean room and only the wetted components in the process suite. Both are fully CIP and SIP capable, have PLC controls with optional data recording and process formulation management and offer a choice of wetted components and grinding tools for batch sizes from 4 to 4000+ liters.

DeltaVita® 600 Pilot Plant Sized Machine

The DeltaVita® 600 provides the ready solution with batch sizes of 1 to 6 liters to support clinical trial phase. The DeltaVita® 600 features interchangeable agitating systems, optional explosion-proof design for installation in hazardous areas, a PLC control system with optional interface for data acquisition, and optional CIP and SIP ready.

Dry powder processing

NETZSCH offers dry grinding process equipment as well. The ConJet® High Density Bed Jet Mill is a spiral jet mill with an internal classifier. The ConJet® model features a variable speed classifier for infinite fineness control with low energy use and high fineness output.

The Condux Universal Mill offers size reduction to d50 ~20µm to 500µm. The Condux Universal Mill pin disc version is one of the most common dry grinding techniques in the pharmaceutical industry. 

High Density Bed Jet Mill ConJet®

The ConJet is a spiral jet mill with an internal classifier for accurate and reproducible particle size control. The ConJet features a variable speed classifier for infinite fineness control with micronization to d50 ~ 1 µ with a very sharp particle size curve with low energy use. This jet mill operates without residual material at the end of the process making ideal for processing high value materials. Product contact parts can be high tech and high strength ceramic materials for metal contamination free processing such as yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide classifier wheel and grinding chamber or stainless steel parts with surface finish of Ra = 0.6 µ. All product contact parts can be sterilized with autoclave (depending on machine size).

High Dispersion Air Classifier CFS HD-S

Air classification very often supplements micronization or is used in place of Micronization. The NETZSCH-CONDUX CFS-HDS series air classifier provides the sharpest separation of fines to d50 ~ 1 µ. High dispersion effectively separates particles in near proximity to the classifier wheel without intermixing of fine or coarse material with new feed material. You can expect steep particle size distributions and high yield. Various sanitary executions available include closed loop inert gas, pressure shock resistant construction, and high strength ceramic materials for metal contamination free processing such as yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide classifier wheel and vane ring or stainless steel parts with surface finish of Ra = 0.6 µ. All product contact parts can be sterilized with autoclave (depending on machine size).

Max-Shear Inline Disperser

The Max-Shear Inline Disperser is an efficient, low maintenance, low cost unit compact enough to be used at any point in the process. Its extremely high shear performance and powerful dispersing action generate the best premix possible

The Max-Shear's unique single processing stage reduces down-stream work and eliminates the product bypassing typical of most single stage units. NETZSCH Vacuum De-Aerator

In the NETZSCH Vacuum De-aerator, micronized gases are removed from fluids with a wide range of viscosities. By means of the VTR Principle (vacuum – thin-film – rotary process), it is possible to process products from topical gels and creams, for example, to a wide variety of free-flowing compounds. The throughput is product and viscosity dependent and can range from 500 kg/h to 4000 kg/h. This machine can be used to de-gas both small quantities, from interchangeable tanks in batch operation, and large batches in continuous operation.

Vacuum deaeration

In the NETZSCH Vacuum Deaerator, micronized gases are removed from fluids with a wide range of viscosities. By means of the VTR principle (vacuum-thin film-rotary process), it is possible to process products such as anti-bacterial gel, ointment and creams, to a wide variety of free-flowing compounds.
