The acquisition will allow Encore leverage Quintiles’ breadth and depth of capabilities as well as its global scale to speed up Encore’s vision of improving clinical outcomes through data-driven performance improvement.
Quintiles president of Integrated Commercial Services and Solutions Scott Evangelista said the addition of Encore greatly improves the company’s EHR expertise – an area that continues to grow in importance as payers, providers and biopharmaceutical customers increase their focus on real-world evidence.

With the completion of this acquisition, Encore will join Quintiles’ Integrated Healthcare Services segment and is known as "Encore, A Quintiles Company".
