PepTcell names new Consumer Health CEO

Prior to joining PepTcell, Scheske served as president of Consumer Healthcare Europe at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for over 25 years.

Scheske, who was president of GSK’s European Consumer Healthcare business from 2004 to 2010, also spent six years as president of GSK’s Consumer Healthcare business in North America.

Scheske was part of the launch of alli, GSK’s weight loss drug, which was the first pan-European switch from Rx to OTC.

In his newly formed role at PepTcell, Scheske is expected to have full responsibility for the consumer health portfolio, which include cough suppressant with a clinically proven efficacy and safety profile.

Additionally, within the portfolio is a small molecule drug for inflammatory flare with a clinically proven safety analgesic profile entering Phase III trials.

PepTcell CEO Gregory Stoloff said that Scheske is an accomplished consumer healthcare professional whose industry knowledge and insight would be invaluable for guiding their consumer assets to market.
