DASGIP Bioreactors feature dedicated designs for microbial fermentation as well as cultivation of mammalian and insect cells.
To suit individual requirements DASGIPs bioreactors provide users with a great flexibility in size, shape and instrumentation. These wide range of different vessels guarantees superior results and while providing different designs and working volumes from 30ml to 4l, they share some main characteristics:
- Borosilicate glass bodies and 316 stainless steel head plates
- Full autoclavability at 121°C
- Magnetically coupled bottom or directly coupled overhead drives
- A choice of impeller designs for specific applications (Rushton, pitched blade, magnetic stir bar and other custom designs)
- Gassing to headspace, sparge and/or overlay
- Stainless steel head plates with multiple industry standard ports
- Easy sampling options
- Availability of mass transfer characterisation for selected bioreactors
- Successful growth of bacteria, yeast and other fungi, insect and other animal as well as human cells
- Optional kits for anaerobic and/or continuous operation as well as perfusion
Mini-Spinner
Mini-Spinner is a vessel featuring minimum working volumes from 30mL -60mL and special instrumentation for stem cells.
PhotoBioreactor
PhotoBioreactor, for phototrophic cells, is a vessel featuring the DASGIP illuminators, i.e. LED sticks, which are implemented inside the Bioreactor and which can be exactly defined by means of light intensity and light spectra.
Apart from DASGIP's own reactor lines the DASGIP process control system is capable of controlling a broad range of third party reactors, both single-use (Mobius, HyClone) and autoclavable (e.g. Bellco, Applikon).
