Cresset develops and sells an innovative range of chemistry tools for molecular modellers, medicinal chemists and safety, in-licensing and IP specialists within the life science industry.

Cresset has worked successfully on over 80 client projects, helping to improve the novelty, diversity and activity of customers' lead compounds. Cresset's tools are based on its unique molecular field technology, which provides a richer, more informative view of the biological activity, properties and interactions of molecules.

Cresset's computational chemistry solutions enable you to create, compare and search for molecules using biologically meaningful comparisons that are not limited by 2D structure similarity. This provides non-obvious, drug-like bioisosteres that can be used to:

Molecular field technology

Cresset was formed in 2002 using the basic research of our founder Dr Andy Vinter to introduce a new virtual screening technology. Over the last decade our technology has been widely adopted throughout the drug discovery and agrochemical industries. At the same time our product suite has grown to encompass desktop and enterprise level solutions. Currently our customers include many of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies, large and small biotechs across the US, Europe and Japan, agrochemical companies as well as top academics.

Cresset is located in BioPark Hertfordshire in Welwyn Garden City, UK, just north of London and is close to London's Luton and Stansted airports.
