Centre for Human Drug Research - Early Phase Drug Development

The Centre for Human Drug Research (CHDR) performs clinical studies of innovative medicines with the concept where the maximum amount of information is extracted in the earliest clinical phase, using innovative and complex techniques as reflected in our publication output.

We collaborate with the University Medical Centres in Leiden and Amsterdam and offer added value because of our own research programs. We develop new biomarkers, optimise our clinical research methods and add new knowledge and expertise to our consultancy. CHDR is also a national and international training centre for clinical pharmacologists with two full professors in its management.

Hence, we are a collaborative partner, offering sophisticated advice to our clients on all aspects of the process of drug development. This synergy results in a unique organisation that operates at a high scientific level while at the same time remains focused on our clients' objectives.
