Harris Laboratories purchased the Neurobehavioural Evaluation System (NES 2) in 1991 with the intention of establishing a psychomotor function testing unit. An automated microcomputer based system, NES 2 was initially designed to assess the effects of environmental exposure to potentially toxic substances on psychomotor and cognitive function.
