ProtoDynamic Therapy Technology - Regulation of intracellular pH

BioCis Pharma's patented core technology is based on 20 years of scientific research in the area of immunology and cell biology. The technology relates to regulation of intracellular pH, i.e. proton (hydrogen ion) concentrations inside the cells. BioCis Pharma's scientists have discovered and identified compounds that can be used to transport protons inside cells to modulate the cytosolic pH without interferring other cellular reactions. This art of drug-mediated control of intracellular pH is called ProtoDynamic Therapy Technology.

Novel anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer therapies

Control of cellular pH by ProtoDynamic Therapy Technology represents a novel anti-inflammation strategy especially in localised inflammatory conditions and it can also be used for effective anti-cancer therapy targeting solid tumours.

Since the start of its operation in December 2004, BioCis Pharma has shown exceptional ability to move its product candidates forward in development programmes, with two high potential products now in clinical phase I-II development.
