Solid-phase peptide synthesis

Bachem offers more than 50 peptidic generic APIs. They are produced in annual quantities of up to hundreds of kilograms. We have great expertise in large-scale solid-phase peptide synthesis (Boc- and Fmoc-strategies) and solution-phase peptide synthesis. Purification procedures include large-scale preparative high performance liquid chromatography (preparative HPLC), conventional chromatography (ion exchange, gel chromatography) and counter-current (Craig) distribution.

Custom synthesis of cytostatic peptides and cytostatic small organic molecules

Our three GMP compliant manufacturing facilities for APIs located in Switzerland and the US fulfill the highest standards and are regularly inspected by the FDA and local authorities. Recently, Bachem set up a new production unit for the custom synthesis of cytostatic peptides as well as cytostatic small organic molecules.

GMP Production

Bachem's manufacturing facilities comply with the latest GMP standards of regulatory agencies such as Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Swissmedic (Switzerland) and the Regierungspräsidium Tübingen (Germany).

Bachem has experience with the production of pharmaceutical grade peptides and specialty chemicals under cGMP conditions. We maintain close working relationships with our customers through all stages of product development, from initial small-scale trial batches through scale-up to full commercial production.
