Targeted Medical enters into distribution agreement with J-Network in Japan

Targeted Medical Pharma (TRGM) has entered into a new product distribution agreement with J-Network, which specializes in distributing cosmetic and healthcare goods exclusively to Japan.

As part of the deal, J-Network has an exclusive one-year renewable license for the marketing and sales of TRGM’s proprietary product, designed to improve sleep and immune function, in Japan.

The deal will see Targeted Medical develop new products specific for import into the Japanese market, while J-network is responsible for a guaranteed initial order of 360,000 capsules.

J-network will also be responsible for maintaining annual minimum purchase orders of 1.4 million capsules for the first two years, and 2.1 million capsules thereafter.

Targeted Medical Pharma chief executive Kim Giffoni said: "The completion of this agreement represents management’s renewed commitment to developing new revenue-generating opportunities abroad.

"J-Network is a reliable and honorable business partner who understands the value of our product line and has a successful track record of distributing our products in Japan."

Targeted Medical develops medical foods to treat chronic diseases such as pain syndromes, peripheral neuropathy, hypertension, obesity, sleep and cognitive disorders.

In addition to developing a line of dietary supplements designed to support health and wellness, the company also produces ten proprietary medical foods, and Clearwayz, a dietary supplement for sinus and immune support.

According to the company, these products are sold directly to physicians, patients and pharmacies in the US and abroad.
